Abstract:
This electromagnetic opening/closing device is provided with: a measurement unit that measures changes (number of instances of opening/closing) accompanying the opening/closing of a contact; a lifespan determination unit that determines the condition of the contact on the basis of the changes (number of instances of opening/closing) measured by the measurement unit; and an output unit that outputs the determination results of the lifespan determination unit to the outside. Consequently, there is no need to manage the lifespan of an electromagnetic opening/closing device by the apparatus mounted with the electromagnetic opening/closing device counting the number of instances of opening/closing, as has been conventional, and so the management of lifespan is easier than conventional management.
