Abstract:
The aim of the present invention lies in providing an electromagnetic generator which generates electricity by vibration of a magnet, and is capable of generating electricity efficiently even with vibrations of small amplitude. The electromagnetic generator comprises: a magnet assembly comprising a plurality of stacked permanent magnets which are magnetised in the direction of stacking with like poles facing each other; and a solenoid coil that is positioned surrounding the side faces of the magnet assembly, the magnet assembly being constructed in such a way that the relative position of the solenoid coil can be altered. In this electromagnetic generator, the planar position of the magnet assembly in which like poles face each other is retained by a resilient body or the magnetic repulsive force of a permanent magnet, in such a way as to coincide with the centre of the solenoid coil in the winding axis direction, in the stationary position.
