Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide an electromagnetic induction RFID tag used together with
an article including a metal, and to provide its access unit. [MEANS FOR SOLVING
PROBLEMS] The electromagnetic induction RFID tag comprises a core member having
two ends each having an end face, an antenna coil wound around the core member,
and an IC chip connected with the antenna coil wherein magnetic flux exiting from
the other end face is oriented at an angle of about 180˚ to the orientation
of magnetic flux entering one end face. Consequently, information can be read
out with high precision with no influence of surrounding metal. The access unit
of the RFID tag comprises a core member having two ends each having an end face,
an antenna coil wound around the core member, and a control section connected
with the antenna coil wherein magnetic flux exiting from the other end face is
oriented at an angle of about 180˚ to the orientation of magnetic flux entering
one end face. The access unit is preferably used in combination with the inventive
RFID.
