An electromagnetic micro pump, comprising a diaphragm (6) and a pump head (3) installed on a frame having an intake port and a delivery port provided therein inside a cabinet, a valve disc (7) disposed in a space formed of the diaphragm and the pump head, a rotatably swinging vibrating piece (8) supported pivotally on the frame fixed to the center part of the diaphragm (6), a permanent magnet (11) disposed at the lower end of the vibrating piece (8), and an electromagnet (10) disposed opposedly to the permanent magnet (11), wherein the cabinet capacity of the cabinet (1) is set to 100 to 150 cm?3¿, a flow rate from the delivery port is 1.5 to 4 liters per minute in the state that a flow resistance is not present on the outside of a pump, the maximum pressure of a delivery pressure is 4 to 20 kPa, the minimum pressure of a sucking pressure is -4 to -20 kPa, a distance between the pivotally supporting part of the vibrating plate (8) and a permanent magnet holding part at the lower end thereof is 12 to 55 mm, a distance between the pivotally supporting part and the fixing part of the vibrating plate with the diaphragm (6) is 12 to 35 mm, and the opposed surfaces of the permanent magnet and the electromagnet are formed in arc surfaces, whereby the diaphragm (6) is operated by the vibration of the vibrating piece (8).
