Abstract:
An electromagnetic pressure reduction valve (40) is provided with a spool valve (42) that allows or blocks communication between a pilot passage (26) and a pilot pressure supply passage (28), and a solenoid (41) that imparts to the spool valve (42) thrust force corresponding to the amount of supplied electric current. The spool valve (42) has a pressure-receiving surface (42d) that, due to the effect of pressure in the pilot pressure supply passage (28), causes the generation of thrust force in the opposite direction of thrust force caused by the solenoid (41), and the area of the pressure-receiving surface (42d) is set to be smaller than the transverse cross-sectional area of the spool valve (42).
