Abstract:
The present disclosure addresses the problem of providing an electromagnetic relay with which it is possible to reduce a regenerated current generated in a coil as quickly as possible. An electromagnet device (2), when a current has flowed through a coil (L1), causes two movable contacts (M1, M2) to be moved from one of a closed position and an open position to the other. When the state of the coil (L1) has turned from a feeding state in which current is supplied from a power supply (V1) to a non-feeding state in which no current is supplied from the power supply (V1), a regenerated current (I1) from the coil (L1) flows through a regeneration unit (3). A control unit (11), when the state of the coil (L1) has turned from the feeding state to the non-feeding state, controls a switch (31) to allow the regenerated current (I1) to flow through a load (32).
