Abstract:
This electromagnetic relay (1) comprises: a coil (4); a housing (2) supporting the coil; a non-movable section (5) supported by the housing and including a fixed core (51) and fixed magnetic path forming members (51, 53); and a movable section (6) having a mobile core (61) disposed along the central axis line (C) of the coil and facing the fixed core, the moveable section being provided so as to be movable back-and-forth along the central axis line according to the energization state of the coil. Flange portions (620; 613) are provided in the movable section, each forming a single body therewith and protruding in the coil diameter direction orthogonally to the central axis line in such a manner as to define, by abutting against the non-movable section, the spacing distances and/or the opposing surface areas in magnetic gaps (G1, G2) between the mobile core and the fixed magnetic path forming members.
