Abstract:
This electromagnetic relay is provided with a fixed terminal, a fixed contact, a fixed contact, a movable contact arm, and a movable contact. The fixed contact is disposed on the fixed terminal. The movable contact arm includes a contact arm body, one end of which faces a portion of the fixed contact, a first flat surface that is formed on one end side of the contact arm body and that does not overlap the fixed contact in a plan view, and a first step part that is formed in a recessed manner from the first flat surface and extends to the one end of the contact arm body. The movable contact is disposed in the first step part of the movable contact arm so as to be flush with the first flat surface, and is capable of coming into contact with the fixed contact.
