Abstract:

An electromagnetic steel sheet having an insulating coating film on the surface thereof, wherein the insulating coating film comprises: a binder solution solid content comprising a metal salt of phosphoric acid; and a silica or a silicic acid salt filler in an amount of 1 to 40 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the binder solution solid content, wherein the silica or the silicic acid salt filler has an average particle diameter of 2.0 to 15.0 μm and an average specific surface area of 1.0 to 40.0 m2/g.
