Abstract:
To realize an electromagnetic wave absorber with which it is possible to satisfactorily absorb electromagnetic waves of a high frequency in or above the millimeter-wave band, and satisfactorily follow a relief shape of an affixation surface and prevent the occurrence of problems such as leakage of electromagnetic waves. A permeation-type electromagnetic absorber 10 formed as a laminate structure or two or more layers, including at least an adhesion layer 2 to be affixed to an affixation surface, and an electromagnetic absorption layer 1 for absorbing electromagnetic waves of a high frequency in or above the millimeter-wave band, wherein the indentation depth at a load of 10 mgf according to a nanoindentation method using a Berkovich indenter is 1.1 < A/B < 3, where A (mm) represents the indentation depth of the adhesive layer and B (mm) represents the indentation depth of a second layer laminated on the adhesive layer.
