Abstract:
This electromagnetic wave control device controls the electric field distribution of electromagnetic waves radiated by an omnidirectional antenna (150). The electromagnetic wave control device is, for example, a reflector (100) that is made of a conductor, disposed on the back surface of the antenna (150) at a predetermined distance from the antenna (150), and has one or more protrusions (110) for changing the radiation pattern of the electromagnetic waves. By only providing the reflector (100) on the back surface of the antenna (150), a constant electric field is set in a predetermined communication area (C), and the electric field is weakened in an incommunicable area (X) outside the communication area, so that a closed space of the electric wave is constructed by the communication area (C).
