Abstract:
An electromagnetic wave detection device has a first image formation unit, a progression unit, a second image formation unit, and a first detection unit. The first image formation unit forms an image of an incident electromagnetic wave. A plurality of pixels along a reference surface are disposed in the progression unit. The progression unit causes an electromagnetic wave that is incident on the reference surface from the first image formation unit to progress in a first direction. The second image formation unit forms an image of the electromagnetic wave that has progressed in the first direction. The first detection unit detects the electromagnetic wave that is incident from the second image formation unit. The angle between the progression axis at each angle of view of an electromagnetic wave that has passed through the first image formation unit, and the main axis of the first image formation unit, is within a prescribed value.
