Abstract:
This electromagnetic wave detection device comprises a switching unit, a first transmission part, and a first detection unit. The switching unit has a plurality of pixels arranged along a reference plane and is capable of, for each pixel, switching between a state in which electromagnetic waves that have fallen on the reference plane are made to travel in a first direction and a state in which electromagnetic waves that have fallen on the reference plane are made to travel in a second direction. The first transmission part has a transmittance of electromagnetic waves in a first wavelength band that is greater than the transmittance of electromagnetic waves not in the first wavelength band. The first detection unit detects electromagnetic waves that have traveled in the first direction and passed through the first transmission part.
