Abstract:
This electromagnetic wave detection device 10 has a switching unit 16, a first detection unit 19, and a second detection unit 20. The switching unit 16 has an action surface as having a plurality of pixels px disposed thereon. The switching unit 16 is capable of switching each of the pixels px between a first state and a second state. In the first state, electromagnetic waves incident on the action surface as are made to advance in a first direction d1. In the second state, electromagnetic waves incident on the action surface as are made to advance in a second direction d2. The first detection unit 19 detects electromagnetic waves that have advanced in the first direction d1. The second detection unit 20 detects electromagnetic waves that have advanced in the second direction d2.
