Abstract:
Disclosed is an opening and closing device equipped with an electromagnetic operating mechanism that holds a contact point at a midway position of an open-contact position and a closed-contact position to manually open and close at a lower speed than a cut-off operation, when performing maintenance, by keeping the contact point at the midway position between the open-contact position and the closed-contact position. This is accomplished by a bolt rod being disposed relative to a release spring on which a load acts in the entire movable range of a moving core, so that the bolt rod receives the load of the release spring in a stretching direction. The release spring is compressed and stretched by movement effected by a screw structure when the bolt rod receives the load of the release spring in the stretching direction.
