Abstract:
Provided is an electromotive force device which is installed in a hybrid vehicle or the like so as to allow the vehicle to travel efficiently by effectively controlling the internal-combustion engine. During a pre-set manual calculation period, an activation control device (30) obtains the battery current outputted from a battery ammeter (21) and the battery voltage outputted from a battery voltmeter, and calculates the average battery output. The activation control device (30) sets the timing for the activation of a gas turbine (10) on the basis of the average battery output calculated by an average battery output calculation unit (31) and the present SOC calculated by an SOC calculation unit (32).
