Abstract:
An electron beam excitation display panel in which warp, deformation, breakage of glass spacers (4) is prevented at low cost while the electron beam excitation display panel is assembled. The electron beam excitation display panel comprises a pair of glass substrates (15, 21), a support member (3) joining the glass substrates (15, 21) hermetically, and glass spacers (4) parallel interposed between the glass substrates (15, 21). The glass substrates (15, 21), the support member (3), and the glass spacers (4) cooperatively constitute a hermetic vacuum enclosure. The coefficient of linear expansion of the glass spacers (4) is almost the same as that of the glass substrates (15, 21).
