Abstract:
An electron-emissive material is disclosed which has excellent electron emission characteristics. A method for producing an electron-emissive material composed of an oriented graphite is also disclosed which comprises a step wherein a polymer film is subjected to a heat treatment in the presence of a second component other than carbon, thereby obtaining an oriented graphite which contains the second component and has a vacancy inside.
