Abstract:
An electron emitter of the present invention comprises: a substrate; a graphite cathode which is formed on the top of the substrate, and is formed from a graphite adhesive having an adhesive property; and an acicular electron emission material which is fixed to the graphite cathode. Further, a method for fabricating an electron emitter of the present invention comprises the steps of: forming an acicular electron emission material film on a template; forming a graphite cathode formed from a graphite adhesive on a substrate; and contacting the graphite cathode on the substrate with the acicular electron emission material film on the template, so that the acicular electron emission material film formed on the template is transcribed to the graphite cathode.
