Abstract:

Disclosed are an electron emitting device using graphene and a method for manufacturing the same. The disclosed electron emitting device comprises: a metal holder having at least one slot formed thereon; at least one emitter plate which is provided to be inserted into the slot to protrude from a first side of the metal holder and which comprises an emitter support member and a graphene emitter attached on the emitter support member; an insulating layer provided on the first side of the metal holder; and a gate electrode which is provided on the insulating layer and which comprises a gate support member and a graphene gate attached on the gate support member.
