This electronic apparatus: (a) receives first data from a server, wherein the first data includes a first duration including first content data of requested content and a second duration into which data regarding advertisement content may be inserted but is not inserted; (b) controls a display to output a portion of content corresponding to the first content data included in the first duration of the received first data; (c) receives second data while the portion of the content corresponding to the first content data is output via the display, wherein the received second data includes a first duration including second content data of the requested content and a second duration into which advertisement content data has been inserted; and (d) controls the display to output advertisement content corresponding to the advertisement content data inserted into the second duration of the received second data, on the basis of the current playback point of the content corresponding to the first content data and the second content data included in the first duration of the received second data.
