Abstract:
A technology for providing electronic apparatus with immunity against static electricity, such that the circuits will not be erroneously operated or damaged due to the electric field, electromagnetic waves, or inflow of electric charges. There are provided electronic apparatus in which the capacity between the active side (2) and the input line (4) is selected to be smaller than the capacity between the pull side (3) and the input line (4) relying upon the contrivance in the pad layout of IC, pattern layout of circuit substrate, or capacitors, the metal housing is not connected to the active side (2), and the grounding is not provided. The electronic apparatus exhibit perfect immunity against all of the phenomena caused by the static electricity such as the inflow of electric charges into the network accompanying the discharge of static electricity, electromagnetic wave noise having high energy, and electric field under the charged condition not accompanied by discharging.
