Abstract:
This electronic apparatus comprises a first housing, and a second housing that is connected to the first housing so as to be pivotable around a pivot shaft, a display unit being disposed in the second housing. The second housing is provided with a first outer surface where the display unit is exposed, and a second outer surface facing a direction that is opposite the direction faced by the first outer surface. A step that crosses the pivot shaft and extends in a crossing direction parallel to the second outer surface is formed on the second outer surface. A rib that extends in the crossing direction is provided to the reverse side of the second outer surface. At least a portion of the rib is located at a position that overlaps the step in the crossing direction. The rib is provided at a position that overlaps the step as seen from a direction orthogonal to the second outer surface or a position between the step and the middle of the second outer surface in a width direction parallel to the pivot shaft. The size of the step gradually decreases from one side in the crossing direction toward the other side. The height of a portion of the rib that overlaps the step in the crossing direction gradually increases from one side in the crossing direction toward the other side.
