Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide and electronic balance on which the influence of the electrification drift is reduced. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An electronic balance comprises a switch (7) for alternately selecting the load signal detected by a load detecting section (1) and the output signal of a temperature sensor (6), an A/D converter (2) for converting the selected signal into a digital signal in a constant cycle, a control section (3) for operating the temperature correction of the load signal and conversion thereof into a weight value, an internal weight (5), and a weight adding/removing mechanism (4). The electronic balance additionally has a function of measuring the zero point drift and the span drift characteristic of when the control section (3) is electrified for a certain time, determining a correction formula for correcting the drift, storing it in a RAM (33), and correcting the zero point drift and the span drift of the load signal by using the correction formula when the control section is electrified next time.
