Abstract:
Disclosed are an electronic cigarette and a method for adjusting a flow rate of a gas flow of the electronic cigarette. The electronic cigarette comprises a cigarette rod (100) provided with a battery (104), an atomizer (300) filled with a liquid smoke and used for atomizing the liquid smoke, and a gas flow passage for flowing the gas flow to the atomizer (300). A pressure regulating valve assembly (400) is arranged on a path of the gas flow passage. The pressure regulating valve assembly (400) comprises a floating sphere which is used for closing or opening the gas flow passage according to the gas flow direction and regulating the flow rate of the gas flow into the gas flow passage. The flow rate of the outside air entering the atomizer (300) is controlled by the pressure regulating valve assembly (400), and then the amount of smoke breathed in by people is regulated, thereby changing the taste of smoking, and meeting the demands of different users; and moreover, when a user blows air into the electronic cigarette, since the pressure regulating valve assembly (400) is in a closed state, the liquid smoke in the atomizer (300) can be prevented from flowing into the battery (104) and a control panel, thereby prolonging the service life of the electronic cigarette.
