Abstract:
An electronic cigarette and method for extinguishing same, said electronic cigarette comprising a vaporization assembly and a battery assembly, said battery assembly comprising a casing (1), a controller (2) disposed inside said casing (1), a smoking switch electrically connected to said controller (2), and a push switch (3) disposed at the casing (1) end section away from the smoking end and which, when pressed, triggers the controller (2) to switch said electronic cigarette from a state of normal operation to a state of disabled operation. A push switch is disposed at the electronic cigarette casing end section away from the smoking end, and when pressed, the push switch triggers the controller to switch the electronic cigarette from a state of normal operation to a state of disabled operation; thus said electronic cigarette can simulate, by means of the push end, the extinguishment of a cigarette, a manner of extinguishment which not only improves user experience, but also avoids the deficiency in the prior art of the erroneous operation of a switch disposed on the casing.
