Abstract:

An electronic cigarette product authentication method and an electronic cigarette product authentication system. The method comprises: a computing device (120) forwarding to a server (130) authentication request information sent by an electronic cigarette product (110); if the server (130) determining that the authentication request information is consistent with pre-configured authentication request information, sending first indication information to the computing device (120), so that the computing device (120) may namely notify a user that a currently authenticated electronic cigarette product (110) is legal according to the first indication information; and if the server (130) determines that the authentication request information is inconsistent with the pre-configured authentication request information, sending second indication information to the computing device (120), so that the computing device (120) may namely notify the user that the currently authenticated electronic cigarette product (110) is illegal according to the second indication information. Therefore, the method can facilitate a user in authenticating whether an electronic cigarette product (110) currently used is genuine, thus effectively avoiding the use of counterfeit products, and the authentication process is simple without complicated operations.
