Abstract:

The present invention is provided with: a current detection resistor (5) connected to the secondary side of a transformer (4) inserted into an AC circuit (2), the current detection resistor (5) converting the current output from the transformer (4) to a detection voltage; a determination circuit (6) having two types of determination circuits, i.e., a time-limit trip determination circuit (6b) and an instantaneous trip determination circuit (6a) for determining an overcurrent from the detection voltage of the current detection resistor (5); and a power supply circuit for converting, to a voltage source, the current output from a rectifier circuit (7) for rectifying the current output from the transformer (4), and supplying power to the determination circuit (6), the power supply circuit being provided with a first diode (25) for switching the voltage output from the power supply circuit when a tripping coil operates and a second diode (26) for suppressing the current output from the power supply circuit.
