Abstract:
Provided is an electronic clinical thermometer having a readily audible buzzer sound. This electronic clinical thermometer is characterized by comprising: a holder (200) in which a circuit board (301) for detecting a patient's body temperature, situated in a circuit board installation area (201) located towards the distal end, and cells (303) for supplying power to the circuit board (301), situated in a cell installation area (203) located towards the basal end, are respectively installed so as to be arrayed in a row; and a housing within the interior of which the holder (200) is attachable, and furnished on the front side with a display part for displaying the calculated body temperature, wherein an alerting member (304) for alerting that calculation of body temperature has been completed is directly mounted to the distal end side of the circuit board (301).
