The present invention includes: an electronic component (2) equipped with a body section (21) having a plurality of surface sections, and terminal sections (22) for engaging terminal fittings (3) and provided on the body section (21); and a storage member (4) equipped with a first storage chamber (41) for guiding and storing the body section, and second storage chambers (42) for storing and holding the terminal fittings. Therein: the terminal sections each have a base-end section (24), and an engaging section (25) for engaging a terminal fitting and extending from the projecting tip of the base-end section; and the engaging sections assemble the electronic component, the terminal fittings, and the storage member with one another, by being configured so as to extend from the projecting tips of the base-end sections along the lateral surface sections (left-side surface (21c), right-side surface (21d)) of the body section with intervals interposed therebetween, without causing the extending tip ends to project farther in the direction of storage into the first storage chamber than the surface section (floor surface (21b)) on the farthest-inserted side of the body section. As a result, it is possible to improve workability when assembling an electronic component in an electronic component module.
