Abstract:
The present invention includes: an electronic component (2) equipped with a rectangular body section (21) and a plurality of terminal sections (22) having different stiffnesses; and a storage member (4) equipped with a first storage chamber (41) for guiding and storing the body section, and second storage chambers (42) for storing and holding terminal fittings (3). Therein, the electronic component, the terminal fittings and the storage member are assembled with one another as a result of: the first storage chamber being formed so as to be surrounded on four sides by frame-shaped wall sections (44) extending upward from a floor section (43); the second storage chambers being formed on the outside of the wall sections so as to sandwich the same; the terminal sections each having a base-end section (24) and an engaging section (25) which engages a terminal fitting and extends from the projecting tip of the base-end section along a lateral surface section of the body section with an interval interposed therebetween; and the terminal fittings and the terminal-section engaging parts being positioned in a manner such that the timing of engagement to the terminal fittings is increasingly later for the relatively less stiff engaging parts of the plurality of terminal sections. As a result, when an electronic component in an electronic component module has a plurality of terminal sections having different stiffnesses, it is possible to protect the less stiff terminal sections when engaging the terminal fittings and the terminal sections of the electronic component.
