Title:
ELECTRONIC COMPONENT CONVEYING EQUIPMENT AND ITS CONTROL METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/063641
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Electronic component conveying equipment which can discharge all electronic
components from the through hole of a conveyance member when operation is stopping
while suppressing occurrence of rejective component. Its control method is
also provided. When the operation of the electronic component conveying equipment
is stopped, negative pressure state in the through hole (3) is stopped and compressed
air stronger than when the electronic component conveying equipment is operating
is injected from the injection outlet (11) of a compressed air injection mechanism
(10). Consequently, an air curtain is formed at the opening of the through hole
(3) on the guide member (5) side, thus preventing an electronic component (30)
from entering the through hole (3). Electronic components (30) remaining in
the through holes (3) located on the downstream side of the outlet (11) in the conveying
direction (X) are conveyed up to a measuring section where they are measured and
discharged by a discharge mechanism before the rotation of the conveyance member
(2) is stopped.
