Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to form a hollow structure capable of suppressing deterioration of an elastic wave element and capable of being resistant to pressure. For that purpose, there is provided a method for producing an electronic component comprising a step for forming a sheet (30) provided with a resin layer (24) and a metal layer (26) formed under the resin layer, and a step for adhering the sheet to a base plate so that the metal layer is arranged on a function area (12) of the elastic wave element formed on the base plate (10), a frame portion (28) surrounding the function area is formed between the metal layer and the base plate, a hollow space (13) is formed on the function area by the metal layer and the frame portion, and the resin layer covers the metal layer and the frame portion.
