Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to implement an electronic component which allows for simple mounting and structural design and has the necessary sufficient mounting strength and electrical characteristics, as well as suppresses generation of vibration noise. A multilayer ceramic capacitor (20) is a structure in which a predetermined number of layers of plate-like internal electrodes (200) are stacked. An interposer (30) is provided with an insulating substrate (31) which is wider than the outer shape of the multilayer ceramic capacitor (20). First mounting electrodes (321,331) for mounting the multilayer ceramic capacitor (20) are formed on the first primary surface of the insulating substrate (31), while first external connection electrodes (322,332) for connecting to an external circuit substrate (90) are formed on the second primary surface. The multilayer ceramic capacitor (20) is mounted on the interposer (30) such that the primary surfaces of the internal electrodes (200) are parallel to the primary surfaces of the interposer (30), that is, the first primary surface and second primary surface of the insulating substrate (31).
