Abstract:
The present invention suppresses the manufacturing cost of an electronic component which is provided with a shield electrode, and the mounting direction of which is identifiable. An embodiment of the present invention pertains to an electronic component (1) which includes an upper face (UF), a lower face, and a lateral face. The electronic component (1) is provided with a circuit pattern and an upper-face shield electrode (USE1). The circuit pattern is formed inside the electronic component (1). The upper-face shield electrode (USE1) is arranged in the upper face (UF). The center of gravity (G1) of the upper-face shield electrode (USE1) is misaligned with respect to the center of gravity (G10) of the upper face (UF) as viewed in a planar view from the normal direction of the upper face (UF).
