Abstract:
This electronic component includes: an insulating layer that has a main surface; a passive device that includes a low-voltage pattern formed within the insulating layer and a high-voltage pattern which is formed within the insulating layer so as to oppose the low-voltage pattern in the normal direction of the main surface and to which a voltage higher than a voltage applied to the low-voltage pattern is applied; and a shield conductor layer that is formed within the insulating layer so as to be positioned around the high-voltage pattern in a plan view, that blocks an electrical field formed between the low-voltage pattern and the high-voltage pattern, and that suppresses electrical field concentration with respect to the high-voltage pattern.
