Abstract:
An electronic control device for controlling an engine provided with: an EGR system having an EGR pipe and an EGR valve arranged in the EGR pipe; an airflow sensor provided to the intake pipe; a throttle valve on the downstream side of the airflow sensor; and an intake pipe pressure sensor for detecting an intake pipe pressure. This electronic control device is provided with: a state estimation unit for estimating the intake pipe pressure and an EGR rate on the basis of at least a detection value of the airflow sensor and an EGR valve opening degree; and an estimation value correction unit for correcting an EGR rate estimation value of the state estimation unit on the basis of the detection value of the intake pipe pressure sensor and an intake pipe pressure estimation value of the state estimation unit.
