Abstract:
The present invention achieves a compact electronic control device which does not require complex circuity and which has an abnormality detection circuit by which a cost increase can be minimized when applied not only to a direct-injection injector drive circuit but also to other types of drive circuits. A current detection unit 9 is provided with a current detection resistor 91, a differential amplifier 92, and a current detection part 93. A current detected by the current detection part 93 is supplied to an abnormality/normality determination part 17. The combined resistance value of a diagnostic current drive circuit 7 and the current detection resistor 91 is higher than the resistance value of an injector drive circuit 3. A fuel injection signal 4 is input to an input end of a logic circuit 6, and a fuel cut signal is input to a negative input end of the logic circuit 6. An output end of the logic circuit 6 is connected to the gate of the injector drive circuit 3. An output signal 4 from a fuel injection signal output part 14 is supplied to the gate of the diagnostic current drive circuit 7 via a switch 8.
