Abstract:
This electronic control device comprises: a storage unit (11, 15) which stores a plurality of divided programs obtained by dividing a program, and a verification authenticator; an encryption computing unit (12, 13, 30, 224) which generates partial authenticators for each of the plurality of divided programs by means of an encryption computation; and a verification unit (14, 30, 224) which generates a computed authenticator by performing a logical operation using the plurality of partial authenticators, and verifies tampering of the program in accordance with whether or not the verification authenticator and the computed authenticator match.
