An electronic control device (33, 33A, 33B) equipped with a plurality of computation blocks (41-44, 51-54, 61-63) for computing floating-point data, said device being equipped with: a storage unit (36, 36A, 36B) for storing the computed data of the plurality of computation blocks; a command value calculation unit (70) for calculating the command values (Ttgt, Ttgt1, Ttgt2) of a control amount of a control target (31, 38) on the basis of the computed data of the plurality of computation blocks; a determination unit which, in advance of the command value calculations, performs determination processing for determining whether or not the computed data of one or more of the computation blocks, from among the data stored in the storage unit, is NaN or infinite; and a processing unit which, in advance of the command value calculations, performs initialization processing on the computed data of a computation block for which a determination is made by the determination unit, from among the data stored in the storage unit, when the determination unit has made a NaN or infinite determination.
