Abstract:

An electronic control device and a transceiver are provided both of which have such a high reliability that they can continue communication by way of a normal section even if an irregular communication state including dominant-fixation or recessive-fixation occur. An electronic control device (101) constitutes a system and includes a microcontroller (108) and a transceiver (106) having a switch section (bus breaker) (1063) for electrically disconnecting/connecting a first communication signal line (115) from/to a second communication signal line (116). The transceiver (106) includes terminals connected to a transmitting terminal (Tx) and a receiving terminal (Rx) of the microcontroller (108) and includes a terminal connected to a switch control terminal (Ctr). The microcontroller (108) monitors abnormalities including irregularity of communication data obtained through the receiving terminal (Rx). If an abnormality is detected, the switch section (1063) of the transceiver (106) is opened to disconnect a communication failure section, for example, the communication line (116) from a normal section, for example, the communication line (115).
