Abstract:
Provided is an electronic control device the ease of manufacture of which, including an intermediate member, can be improved while maintaining heat dissipation characteristics, by devising the shape of a part where a heat sink abuts electronic components and connecting wires with the interposition of the intermediate member. An electric power converting device according to the present invention is provided, between a heat sink (11) and connecting wire abutting portions (13) and between the heat sink (11) and electronic components (2), with an intermediate member (12) having insulating properties and heat transfer properties, wherein an upper surface of a maximal heat generating component (8) is a planar surface, and the part of the heat sink (11) facing the upper surface of the maximal heat generating component (8) is a portion of a base plane (31).
