Abstract:
The present invention provides a power supply device (power supply ASIC) which can be ready for electronic apparatuses for a wide variety of drive currents and has excellent general versatility and reliability while suppressing an increase in cost, and an electronic control device using the same. An electronic control device is provided with: a first power supply circuit for outputting a first voltage; a second power supply circuit for generating a second voltage from the first voltage; and a first MOS FET disposed independently of the first power supply circuit and the second power supply circuit. The second power supply circuit has: a reference power supply for outputting a reference voltage; an amplifier for amplifying the reference voltage; a second MOS FET connected in parallel with the first MOS FET; a voltage detection unit for detecting a voltage value of a gate terminal of the first MOS FET; and a switch unit for connecting an output from the amplifier to either of the gate terminal of the first MOS FET and a gate terminal of the second MOS FET, and controls the switch unit on the basis of the voltage value at a time of starting which is detected by the voltage detection unit.
