Abstract:
An electronic device comprises a memory for storing token sets corresponding to respective multiple emotions, and at least one processor for: when reference speech is received, identifying an emotion corresponding to the reference speech among the multiple emotions; acquiring a token set corresponding to the identified emotion from among the multiple token sets stored in the memory; inputting information on the reference speech and the acquired token set to a style encoder and acquiring style information to output synthesized speech of the identified emotion; when text is input, inputting the text to a decoder acquired on the basis of the style information, so as to acquire synthesized speech corresponding to the text; and outputting the synthesized speech corresponding to the text.
