Abstract:
According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises a communication circuit, memory, a plurality of microphones, and a processor operatively connected to the communication circuit, the memory, and the plurality of microphones, wherein the processor can be set to: detect, by means of the communication circuit, the connection of an external electronic device; receive audio signals by means of the plurality of microphones of the electronic device; calculate time delay between the audio signals received by means of the plurality of microphones of the electronic device and the audio signal received from the external electronic device; compensate for the time delay between the audio signals received by means of the plurality of microphones of the electronic device and the audio signal received from the external electronic device; and perform beamforming using the plurality of microphones of the electronic device and at least one microphone of the external electronic device. Various embodiments other than those disclosed in the present invention are also possible.
