Abstract:
In an electronic device according to various embodiments, the electronic device may comprise a communication module, a display, and a processor, wherein the processor: acquires images obtained by photographing a user from an external electronic device through the communication module; on the basis of the images, generates a depth map related to at least a part of the body of the user; acquires body information of the user on the basis of the depth map; generates a user avatar corresponding to the body information of the user; recommends items to the user on the basis of information related to the user; compares the body information of the user with information of an item selected by the user from among the recommended items, so as to identify a discrepancy area in which a size of the item and a size of an area among areas corresponding to the body of the user do not match; outputs, on the display, the user avatar rendering the item; and displays the discrepancy area on the user avatar. Various other embodiments are possible.
