Abstract:
A camera assembly (10) is provided. The camera assembly includes a lens holder (12), a lens (14) disposed in the lens holder (12), a circuit board (15), a camera sensor (16) disposed on the circuit board (15), and an ambient light sensor (17) electrically connected to the circuit board (15). The lens holder (12) defines a light transmission channel (121), and the camera sensor (16) is disposed correspondingly to the lens (14) via the light transmission channel (121). The ambient light sensor (17) is disposed on the camera sensor (16) or the lens holder (12). Ambient light is transmitted through the lens (14) and the light transmission channel (121), and is further incident into the camera sensor (16) and the ambient light sensor (17). An electronic device having the camera assembly (10) is further disclosed.
