Abstract:
An electronic device according to an embodiment disclosed in the present document may comprise a display, a communication circuit, at least one processor operatively connected to the display and the communication circuit, and a memory operatively connected to the at least one processor. The memory may store instructions which, when executed, cause the at least one processor to: transmit a first control signal to the external input device such that a first input area comprising at least a part of the entire input area of the external input device is activated in response to a first display area exposed to the outside while being connected to the external input device; identify a second display area, the size of which is changed from the first display area by deformation of the electronic device, in response to sensing the electronic device being deformed; determine a second input area different from the first input area from the entire input area of the external input device on the basis of the size or ratio of the identified second display area; and transmit a second control signal for activating the determined second input area to the external input device. Various other embodiments identified through the present document are possible.
