Abstract:

The electronic device according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a touch screen that includes a first key region to which a plurality of first keys are associated and a second key region to which a plurality of second keys are associated; and a controller that performs character input processing on the basis of key operations detected in the first and second regions of the touch screen. The first key region is located along a first edge of the touch screen. The plurality of first keys are lined up along the first edge. The second region is located along a second edge of the touch screen different from the first edge. The plurality of second keys are lined up along the second edge.
