Abstract:
The present invention relates technical field of charging. Disclosed are an electronic device and a charging method therefor. In the present invention, the charging method comprises: an external power supply charges an electric energy buffer storage device of an electronic device; and after the electric energy buffer storage device is fully charged, the external power supply and the electric energy buffer storage device charge a battery of the electronic device at the same time. Compared with the prior art, an electric energy buffer storage device is added in the electronic device; during the charging, the electric energy buffer storage device is charged first, and after the electric energy buffer storage device is fully charged, the external power supply and the electric energy buffer storage device charge the battery of the electronic device at the same time. In this way, the charging speed can be improved and accordingly the electronic device can be quickly charged; in addition, the modification of a charging wire and the modification of a charger can be avoided, accordingly the compatibility is improved, and cost of quick charging can be reduced.
